International Canoe Federation
The International Canoe Federation (ICF) was founded in 1946. It is the world governing body responsible for administering the sport of Canoeing, which includes both canoeing and kayaking. The ICF governs eight disciplines, two of which are Olympic sports (Canoe Sprint and Canoe Slalom). The competition categories of these two disciplines include Men’s Kayak, Men’s Canoe, Women’s Kayak and Women’s Canoe. The ICF has 157 member associations and is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland. Its current President is José Perurena López.

Sport Event Denmark
Sport Event Denmark is the national Danish sports event organization. Established and supported by the Danish Government and the National Olympic Committee and Sports Confederation of Denmark. To help develop and promote sport, the main objective of Sport Event Denmark is to attract and host major international sports events and congresses. Sport Event Denmark is primarily focused on sports that have a strong foundation within Denmark, either at the elite or sport for all level. After many years of focused and visible efforts, Sport Event Denmark is viewed as a credible and trusted partner in the sports world. We have succeeded in winning over 80 percent of our international bid campaigns. In addition, Denmark and our capital city Copenhagen, have been ranked in the Top-18 of the Global Sports Nations/Cities Index 2013.
Municipality of Gladsaxe
The Municipality of Gladsaxe is situated north-west of Copenhagen. For the City of Gladsaxe it is an important goal to give to the citizens a city, where it is nice to live, stay and work.
It is easy to find a green area in Gladsaxe and the nature around Lake Bagsvaerd is fantastic. Gladsaxe is home to around 67.000 people and is the 23rd largest city in Denmark.
Municipality of Lyngby-Taarbaek
The Municipality of Lyngby-Taarbæk is situated north of Copenhagen and it is known as the Green Area. The municipality consists of Lyngby, the commercial centre, and several smaller towns and villages.
Lyngby-Taarbæk is home to around 53,000 people.
